March 2026
I live near Calgary, Alberta with my youngest daughter, an adult. She speaks of moving out on her own one day but she is welcome to stay. My oldest three children, two sons and a daughter are married and live close to me. Calgary area has been my home since 2004.

My late husband and I moved many times, from towns and cities in Manitoba, to numerous cities in Ontario, a major country move to the United States, Raleigh to be exact, and back to Canada to settle in Alberta. Living in the Calgary area is the longest place of residence for my family. I believe we moved a total of 13 times, I’ve lost track.
There have been many drastic changes in the last years. My husband passed away January 2018 after a difficult battle with cancer. Following that, my three oldest children married within the span of just over a year. My son-in-law and two daughters-in-law are an added blessing from the Lord. In 2020 I became a grandmother which added another massive dimension of blessing to my life. Presently, I have three wonderful grandchildren. Although there have been some difficult transitions in the last years, God has been faithful and continues to shower me with his love and kindness.
I began to write in 2002, not because I was gifted or knew of my storytelling talent. It began with a church fast and an unusual dream. After some prayer and soul searching, I began to write. Although my first attempts were less than stellar, I have developed my writing skills since and, after much editing, proof reading and years of fostering this skill, I have progressed as an author.
At the start of 2023, I felt led to start posting real supernatural stories, where God shows up in the natural and reveals his presence. I’ve shared some of my own supernatural stories. Also, others have shared their testimonies with me of how God delivered, answered prayers and brought heavenly help at just the right time. I pray that these stories bless those who read them.
Even though I was forced into the life of widowhood, I know that I will see my husband again one day. I am convinced that Jerrie is cheering me on from Heaven. He was my greatest writing encourager. I am firmly persuaded that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. My mother graduated to Heaven in 2021 and I have other loved ones that have gone on to their heavenly reward. One day I will be reconnected with all of them. Writing about the supernatural and Heaven has become more relevant to me now than ever before.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my website and for reading this ‘About’ me page. Thank you to my faithful readers who support me by reading my supernatural short stories and enjoying my books.
